Headmaster's welcome

Randolph Awuku-Williams

Founded in 2010, House of Hope School is a happy, purposeful place of personal discovery for children aged 1 to 14.  We are proud of our academically challenging and balanced curriculum which is delivered by committed staff, through inspirational teaching methods to our School population of 1000.

We are a registered private school and fully authorised by the Ghana Education Service, licensed to operate by the Dormaa Municipal Council.

We have dedicated staff and supportive parents who work together to ensure that each pupil experiences a challenging learning journey in a reflective, creative and vibrant atmosphere.

House of Hope provides excellent education to the children of Dormaa Ahenkro, the surrounding towns and foreign nationals living in Ghana. We have adopted an attitude of kindness and respect, where each individual is encouraged to understand their strengths and learn to mitigate their weaknesses, using their time at school to develop their skills and enjoy their success.

We aim for excellence both in and out of the classroom, seeking to develop the qualities of inquisitiveness, resilience, independence, humility and kindness.

We are proud of our outstanding preliminary examination results at all levels, our broad and balanced curriculum and our extensive extra-curricular provision. We work with educational partners in the UK and hope to strengthen our relationships for the children's attainment and reaching their full potential.

With our state of the art boarding facilities for children in class 5 to JHS 3, House of Hope provides a quality education to children from all backgrounds, ensuring they pursue both academic excellence and personal development which will enable them to occupy leading role in the modern world.

Let's build together

Serving the community is at the heart of what we do at House of Hope. Since 2010, we have supported the Asomdweɛ children's ward at  Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital.

Our mission is to ensure every pupil achieves their full potential through a relevant and exciting curriculum that is tailored to the need of the pupil. We believe state of the art facilities should be experience by all children, regardless of their geographic location.
